Demand Democracy in Honduras

Despite threats and a campaign of fear from the ruling party, including a strong military presence, Hondurans courageously exercised their right to vote on Sunday, November 26. What's more, the ruling government deployed the military across the country, which could lead to widespread violence. Now they are positioning themselves to declare victory and installing fear into the population.

Join Grassroots International in urging the US not to repeat its past mistake of supporting the 2009 coup, and instead calling for an accurate vote count, and supporting the rights of the Honduran people as they stand up to voter fraud, intimidation and dictatorship.
