Demand the immediate release of Palestinian youth human rights defender
Just two weeks after Israeli defense forces evicted Palestinians peacefully protesting an expanded settlement in their lands, an organizer from Stop the Wall was arrested (without charges) and detained.
For years, Hassan Karajah has been doing the critical work of organizing Palestinian youth throughout the West Bank to defend their human rights, develop leadership skills and mobilizing nonviolent resistance to the Wall and to broader Israeli occupation. Two weeks ago, Israeli defense forces raided his home, searched his mother, father, brothers and sisters; ransacked their home; and blindfolded and arrested Hassan. He continues to be held, without charges.
Please take action now to demand Hassan's immediate release, and the protection of Palestinian civil society members who are nonviolently working to secure their human rights and dignity.
